A GREAT LIBERAL ASSOCIATION.
We have received from a correspondent the following " Magna Charta" of a great Liberal Association which has recently beon planted in the Empire City of New Zealand, and branches of which are to be op cned in all the electoral districts of the North Island and the principality of Kiwau : I. That Sir George Grey be Treasurer of the Association, 11. That the Treasurer be authorised to pay the election expenses of any member of the Association. 111. That the members of the Association pledge themselves to support the Treasurer as Jong as the Treasurer will support them.
IV. That the Association pledges 'itself to give every European adult one vote and every ma le Maori two. V. That all working men be honorary and contributing members of the Association, but that they be not entitled to share in its pi ■ofits. VI. That ai vy member of the Association liable to berated under the Land Tax Act be (lis qualified,
VII. That t' lie members of the Association spend the five million loan. VIII That i mother five million loan be raised for the i jxtension of the franchise to all parts of t. lie colony of New Zealand, saving and exc epfciug the principality of Kawau. IX, That the members of the Association extend the franchise. X, That the 1 Bombers of the Association believe in rep rosentation, misrepresentation, speculation, confiscation, prorogation, dissolution i, and future generations unborn,
XL That the As! mciation believes in the land of the colon y being given to the people thereof, and t hat the members of the Association are the • people,
XII, That the Asaoi Nation be not dissolved till every mem ber thereof has a visible means of support.
