SIR GEORGE BOWEN AT MAURITIUS.

We (Argus) have received from Mauritius the special supplement to the Mercantile Record and Commercial Gazette of April 28th, containing an account of the arrival and reception of tho new Governor, Sir George Bowen, together with the addresses that had been presented to his Excellency, and his replies thereto. In order to mark the auspicious occasion the" special supplement" is printed in golden characters. Sir George Bowen'# cordiality of manner seems to have exercised at Port Louis the same agreeable, influence it has produced elsewhere on a first acquaintance.
