NOTICE is-hereby given tliat tho Order in Council appointing the Table of fees and Crossing-places, under "The Sheep Act, 1878," comes into operation on Ist May, 1879. Extract from Order in Council TABLE OF FEES. The Hate to bo charged for the Keeping and Dressing of Sheep imported, or Sheep Crossing from an Infected into a Clean Sheep District, shall bo as follows : £ Sustenance and attendance for each Sheep, if not provided at expense of owner, per day 0 6 Administering ono or more Dressings, and Branding For one Sheep, and any number not exceeding ten .. .. 10 0 For every additional Sheep above ten, per Sheep ~ .. 0 3 Provided that in the case of Sheep arriving by sea at any . port, if for butcher's use, the chargo for Inspecting and Branding shall be— For each sheep 0 1 CROSSING PLACES FOR SHEEP. The undermentioned places are appointed for Crossing Boundaries of Sheep Districts, namely : NAPIER SHEEP DISTRICT. On the boundary between the Wellington and Napier Sheep Districts, where the coast lino crosses the Waimata Stream, In the Township of Wootlville, Provincial District of Hawke's Bay, at the junction of the main road from Masterton with the main road from the Gorge to Napier. CANTERBURY SHEEP DISTRICT, NORTHERS BOUNDARY The ford on the Waiaua-ua River, about opposite the Township of Waiau. ■ The ford or bridge on the Waiaua-ua River, opposite the homestead of Leslie Hill's linn, WESTERN BOUNDARY The ford on the Waimakiriri River, at the Bealey Township. The Proprietor begs to inform the inhabitants of Carterton, Greytown, and neighborhood, that the above depot is now under the management of Mr John Diedrick, and that good Ale and Stout will be supplied at the following prices, viz.— Ale, 7/6 per dozen quarts. And all monies due to the above Depot must be paid to the said John Diedrich, whose receipt will ho a sufficient discharge; as Mr Oakley has left my employ, and has no right to receive money on my account after this date.
