NOTIFICATION OF THE DEPOSIT OF VALUATION LISTS. TAKE NOTICE.—The Valuation Lists under " Tho Land Tax Act, 1878," for the Counties of Wairarapa East and Wairarapa West, Wellington District, are now deposited at tho places stated bolow. Every person interested may inspect such lists and take copies thereof at all reasonable hours during a period of fourteen days from the 28th May, Any person who considers himself aggrieved by reason of the unfairness or incorrectuess of any Taluation, or by the insertion or incorrectness of any matter therein, may, either by himself or his agent, object as by the Act is provided. All objections must bo in writing under the hand of the objector or his agent and in the prescribed form, and delivered or posted to me at my oflice at Welling' ton before tho 16th day of Juno next. Notice must be given of claims for exemption from land tax, and every such notice must bo included in a notice of objection to the valuation; and in such notice the claimant shall state the particulars of property or properties m respect of which such exemption is claimed, and tho district in which he desires that such exemption shall take effect, If two or more claims to exemption relating to the said land be put in, the same shall be treated as one claim. Any person knowingly and • wilfully making a false claim for exemption from land tax is declared by the said Act to ho guilty of a misdemeanonr.
