The promoters of the above Company having leased the Town Hall, Masterton, for a term of 21 : ycars, have determined to effect certain alterations and additions by which the building can betransformed into a Theatre suitable to the requirements of the rapidly rising town, and it has been clearly ascertained that the building as altered will be adequate for the performance of Theatrical and Opeiatic Companies, which m times past \ would have visited the district bad there been suitable accommodation, It has further been proved, without doubt, that the income hitherto derived from the Town Ilall, even in its extremely miserable state, has been more than a paying one. Plans liavo been prepared by an experienced architect, and an estimate given, whereby the alterations as mentioned above can be made

for a sum of £6OO. It is therefore proposed to float a Company with a capital of £IOOO, consisting of 200 Shaves of £5 each, £3 of which shall ho called up as follows: —10s 011 application; 10a on allotment; and 10s per Share per month, Ihc holders of Shares will ho entitled to their yearly dividend proportioned to the profits realised by the Company, The liability of the Shareholders is limited to the amount of Shares which each one holds.
