The object of the Association is to thoroughly test whether, in the Ranges adjacent to JJiistcrton, Gold, Silver, Copper, Iron. Ooal, Mate, or any other metal or mineral possessing commercial value is obtainable in payable quantities. The price of Shares is fixed at the low rate of £1 each, to enable all who desire to join an Association calculated to promote not only the prosperity of the District as a whole, but of the subscribing members individually. It is proposed to issue 250 Shares only to the public, and to spend the capital realised by them on prospecting and general expenses, reserving 50 Shares to enable the Directors to offer a bonus to any prospectors in their employ who may make a discovery which shall prove advantageous to the Association,
_ In the event of any discovery of a commercifu value, the operations of the Association would have to embrace mining as well as prospecting, unci the Association would have to be extended to enable Shareholders to have the full benefit of their enterprise, It is believed that, with prudence and economy, the present nominal capital will he sufficient to prospect the neighborhood.
