The promoters of the above Company having leased the Town Hall, Masfcrton,for a term of 21 years, have determined to effect certain alterations and additions by which the building can betransformedinto a Theatre suitable to tho requirements of the rapidly rising town, and it has been clearly ascertained that tho building as altered will bo adequate for the performance of Theatrical and Operatic Companies, which in times past would ha|k visited the district had there been suitable accommodation. It has further been proved, without doubt.
that Uio income hitherto derived from the Town Hall, even in its extremoly miserable state, has been more than a paying one. Plans have been prepared by an experienced architect, and an estimate given, whereby the alterations as mentioned above can be made for a sum of £6OO, It is thorofore proposed to float a Company with a capital of £IOOO. consisting ol 200 Shares of £5 each, £3 of which shall be called up as follows:—10s on application; 10a on allotment; and 10s per Share per month, llie holders of Shares will be entitled to
