The promoters of the above haviug leased the Town Hall, Masterton, for term of 21 years, have determined to effect certain alterations and additions by which tho building can be transformed into a Theatre suitable to the requirements of tho rapidly rising town, and' it has been clearly ascertained that tho building as altered will be adequate for the performance of Theatrical and Opeiatio Companies, which in times past would have visited the district had there been suitable accommodation, •, It lias further been proved, without doubt, that the income hitherto derived from the Town Hall, even in its extremely miserable state, has been more than a paying one. Plans have beon prepared l)y an experienced architect, and an estimate given, whereby tho alterations as mentioned above can be mado for a sum of £6OO. It is therefore proposed to float a Company with a.capital.of £IOOO. consisting of 200 Shares of £5 each, £8 of which shall bo called up as, follows: —10h on application; 10s on allotment; and 10s per .Share, per month', ... ~.. . ...,. llio holders of Shares' will lie entitled, to their yearly dividend proportioned to tho profits realised by tho Company.
