Mr Bock reported prices quoted by the different offices for printing catalogues of books. ■ •

It was : resolved on-tho- motion of Mr Byrn, seconded by Mr Stenhouse—That the question of printing catalogues bo postponed till tho receipt of the new books ordered, and that particulars of printing same be ascertained from' Fawcett & Co., and proprietors of Guardian.

Mr Byrn offered to supply gratis firewood for the winter consumption if the Committee would get it cut; After some discussion it was decided to leave the matter of firewood to Messrs Byrn and Skeet. It was resolved on tho motion of Mr Stenhouse, seconded by Mr Skeet—That Mr Webster act as Treasurer. It was resolved—That Mr Skeet be asked to procure a lamp for the use of the Library. • A vote of thanks to the Chairman concluded the business.
