They charge Ud for a loaf that is sold in Wellington'for Gd and that's too much of a difference. Its about time somo of. .them retired oii a well-earned competency and made room for men who would be satisfied witli'a little - less that cent for cent profit. There is another business in the place where a : similar per centage of profit is made, to judge from their extraordinary changes, and that is the butchers, perhaps its too much to expects a healthy competition in this business under the preseht unhealthy circumstances, but it is to be hoped that the'many sufferers will soon co-operate in securing a letter Btate of : things.
