PROPERTY SALE. Al the Tattersall's land salerooms on Saturday afternoon Mr Mundell, auctioneer for the Canterbury Farmers’ Cooperate e Association, submitted for sale in the estate of the late Mr James Gibson, a farm of of 258 acres, situate foir miles from theMakikihi Railway station. There is a dwelling-house and all necessary farm buildings on the property. Eighty acres are in wheat, 40 in oats 20 in turnips, and the balance in grass. The opening bid was £l5 10s per acre, and by 10s and 5s advances the price quickly ran to £l4 15s, at which figure it was passed to Mr R. Dyaes, of Kingsdown. SATURDAY AUCTION. Leslie O’Callaghan reports as follows on Saturday’s sale :— „, Pigß "A good entry and a good demand. Weaners 7s to 12s, good stores 23s 25s 265. Consignments of pigs advised as prices are advancing steadily. Poultry-Hens 2s to 2s 6d, cockerels 3s 6d to 4s, ducks 3s 4d. Produce—Chick wheat 10s to 12s Potatoes—Very scarce and Urge quantities are required. A large list of sundries, including dray, spring cart, bicycles, furniture, etc., was offered, and a good clearance effected.
