Forrester is got by the Norfolk trotter Shales, who was noted for the splendid classes of harness horses he left, and is out of Polly by Master Rowe, grand dam by Scud (imp.) Forrester’s breeding shows that he. is decended from a very successful strain of roadsteis, and the repmation gained by Shales is already being upheld by Forrester, who is leaving first class stock.
