_ The Sultan of Turkey has written his autobiography, which, according to Die In f ovulation, will fall like a bombshell on the civilised world. It records, without reserve, says a \ ienna correspondent, the deceptions practised by Christian statesmen, one after the other, to gain the support of Mohammedan Turkey, and ridicules mercilessly the European monarchs who bid for Abdul's friendship. The book, which from the beginning to the end is an indictment of the hypocrisy of Christian cililisation, will reveal diplo* matic secrets of the highest importance. Its publication, which will be one of the events bf the century, will take p1&36 after his death as a posthumous revenge on Europe.
