THE FROZEN MEAT TRADE.

Mr F. Waymouth, general manager of the Canterbury Frozm Meat Co., has received information from Colonel Sharpe, Commissary-General of the United Slates Army, that tenders are required for supplying frozen beef and mutton to the Philippines. The first tender is for l,ooo,ooolb's of beef and 100,000 lbs of mutton for delivery at Manila by May 15, 1905 ; the second tender is for 600,0001bs beef and 5 J.OOOlbs mutton per month for the year ending - June 30, 1904. Tenders must be cabled to the United States Consul at Manila, and close on December 29.
