The Canterbury Farmers’ Co operative Association, Limited (per Mr G• R- MJones, auctioneer), report that the business at Timaru Tatteraall’s on Saturday last in the horse line was quiet, owing to the holiday week and so "many c.ients being away in Christchurch. A yarding of 28 came forward, including 10 very good sorts, young, sound, and guaranteed right in every way, for which good money was bid, but the absence of competition through the aforesaid reason restricted the number changing hands. Young draughts made up to £45 from £3B 10s ; upstanding harness sorts from £l7 10s to £23.
