Mr Manning, the principal officer of the protectorate, advises the ;authorities not to cancel the reinforcements, sin3e developments are awaited. "The Aden detachment has landed at Berbera. Additioual African troops from other protectorates have been ordered to Somaliland. An Indian native field hospital has been sent. The Second Sikhs at Simla are warned to be in readiness. Buda Pesth, October 28.
Karl Inger, of Buda Pesth, in a letter to the PesUr Lloyd, signed "Emir Solimar Inger Abruliab," describes the Muilab as " my ijrau and most faithful subordinate, fighting for a free and independent Somalitond." The writer wishes to place Somaliland under AustroHungarian protection. Rome, October 24.
