Messrs Guinness and LeCren, Limited, report that at this sale yesterday, owing to the wet weather, there was only a small yarding of stock. Nevet thelees, good dairy cows sold wall, and the bidding was bri-k for good lines of sheep. The following prices were obtained : Cattle—Dairy cows, £9 12s 61, £6 17s Gd, £5 ss, £5 2s 6d. Sheep—Good hoggets, 12s 91, 12s 7d ; ewes and lambs (all counted), 8s Bd, Bs, 7s 4d ; three prime wethers sold at 265. DUNEDIN GRAIN MARKET. Wheat—There is no demand for any but prime velvet and fowls’ feed, the latter having advanced slightly in price. Prime niifihern milling is quoted at 4a 2d to 4s 4d ; medium 3s 6d to Ss 9d ; good whole lowl wheat, 3s 4d to 3s sd; broken, 2s 9d to 3s 2d, sacks extra. Oats—The market is very firm for good feed and milling, but inferior is difficult to place. Prime milling is quoted at 2s 7jd to 2s 9d ; occasional teed lots, 2s lid ; good to beat feed, 2s 6d to 2t 7d ; medium, 2s 3d to 2s sd; inferior nominally, la 6d to 2s, sacks extra. Parley - Little or nothing is doing except in oceasionai small lots lor feed or milling. Prime malting is quoted at 3s 3d to 3s 6d; medium, 3s to 3s 2d, feed and milling, 2a 8d to 3s, sacks extra.
