Court Foresters Pride, No. 6073.

The quarterly meeting was held on Monday night, when there was a good attendance of members under the presidency of the Chief Ranger, Bro. E. J. Adams. After the minutes of the previous meeting had been read and confirmed the vVoodwards reported five members on the sick fund, A notice of motion “ that the treasurer should be paid a salary,” was discussed and carried. A resolution was also passed, “ that some token of appreciation of Bro. E, J. Atwill’s services as treasurer for a good number of years should be presented by the Court.” An amount was passed for that purpose, the presentation to take place at the next meeting on the 24th inst. The following were elected to office for the next period of six months:—Chief Ranger, Bro. E. J. Adams (re-elected); S.C. Ranger, Bro. Thos. Atwill; Treasurer, Bro. A. Berry (re-elected) ; Secretary, Bro. P. Grant (re-elected); senr. Woodward, Bro. G. Calvert; junr. Woodward, Bro. W. Miller (reelected) ; senr. Beadle, Bro. G. H. Wilson ; junr. Beadle, Bro. D. Lundon; Auditors, Bros. Bitchener, Coltman, Inkster (re-elected ; Medical Officers, Drs Barclay and Nicol, On© candidate was initiated into the order and another prepared for admission. Accounts amounting to .£llO 4s 0d wore passed for payment, while the receipts for the meeting were £Q'i 4s.
