Sudden Death at Morven.
An extremely sad death occurred at Morven early on Monday morning, Mrs Marshall, a young married woman, being found dead in her bed. Mr Marshall rose at half-past five and spoke to his wife, who appeared to be in perfect health, but said she felt a little drowsy. After milking ho returned to his wife’s room, at 7.80, and on speaking to her received no answer. Mrs Henderson and Mrs Seaman, neighbours, kindly came at once to render assistance, and Dr (’rnickahank came from town. Unfortu-
nately, however, nothing could he do ie, as Mrs Marshall had passed away, being evidently dead when her husband fit st returned to her ro.im. The matter was reported to the ponce. Mrs Marshall will be better remembered in town as Miss Richard, having lived for a number of years with Mrs D. Henderson, of Mill Road.
