TO THE EDITOR. Sib,— ln your issue of last Tuesday there ia a report of a meeting of the Waimate Workers’ Union, in which it is stated that I seconded the resolution calling upon the Town Clerk to either resign the secretaryship of the Farmers’ Union or else tho town clerkship. This is entirely wrong. I neither seconded the motion nor was lin favour of it. It was proposed by the president (Mr Smith) and secondel by tho secretary (Mr Boreham).
