The director*;.'of the -Canterbury Farmer's 00-operativo Association met on Friday to receive the balance-sheet and statement of profit and loss for the la&t twelve months. These showed that the Association has again had a very successful year, the net profits amounting to £12,805 18s 6d, which, with the amount . brought forward from last year of £ll4B Is Sd, leaves £18,458 15s 3d to he dealt with. The directors propose to ■' allocate this sum as follows: —To payment of a dividend on capital invested of 8 per cent., boiius on purchases made with the Association 6 per cent., bonus to staff 6 per cent., allow 25 per cent rebate off all'' commissions earned (wool excepted), to add £ISOO to the 'reserve fund, and after payment of stocktakera,' and auditors' fees carry the balance forward. The annual general meeting cf shareholders was fixed for Saturday,
