GLENAVY
Last Friday evening a most enjoyable dance was given by the young ladies of Glenavy. No pains had been spared in decorating the schoolroom and the effect was a very pretty one. The playing ehed had been used as a supper room and a dressing room made from the small room off the porch, so that despite the fact that 66 couple* were present this careful disposition of room enabled everyone to thoroughly enjoy themselves. Supper was supplied and handed round by the ladies, whe succeeded admirably in entertaining their guests. Dancing, to the excellent music of Mr M. Leonard (violin), was kept up till after 3 a.n - ., Mr A. Pelvin making an efficient M.O. Miss Williams, hon; secretary, and Miss Park, hon. treasurer, with their committee, must feel very satisfied at the result of their efforts.
