o Subject to any necessary alteration, mails will close as under:— Thursday, 7th August. For the Australian States and Northern Ports of New Zealand ( v ia Wellington), p r Rotomahana (to oonneci with Mukoia*, at 3 p.m. For Northern Porte of New Zealandt on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at 2.30 p.tn. Mails for Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, pet Manapouri, close at Auckland on 27th August at 4 p.m. The following houra will be obaerwd by this Department on Sa'urday, 9th August, Coronation Day :—Post Office open from 8.30 to 9.30 a.m. for delivery of letters and sale of »tamps. All mails for despatch will close at 9 a.m No delivery, by letter carriers. Counter delivery of letters between 7 and 8 p.m. on Friday, August Bth. Telegraph Office open from 8.30 to 10 a.m, and from 7 to 8 p. m, G. B. Cooper, Acting Postmaster. Waimate, August 6, 1902.
