The King.
London, July 27. The Kin« presided at a meeting of the l J nvy Conm-il,. and signed Coronation an; I bank holiday proclamations. The proposed Cabinet changes were not submitted. Lord Lister, speaking at the banquet at the Athenaeum Club, said that no indiscretion had been committed in fixing the Coronation for August 9th. July 28. ! Yesterday the King used an invalid chair, in which he moved himself about. The Standard states that the King cannot yet go upon his feet, nor has the wound healed; and though the prospects of His Majesty's ability to undergo Coronation on the 9th August have improved, His Majesty can only , be expected to do so as an in- * valid. 1 A bulletin issued to-day states 1 that the King continues in excellent health, and that the wound is healing rapidly. The Kiog attended Divine service on the deck of his yacht yesterday, the Bishop of Manchester officiating. July 29. The King in-.his wheeled chair, sheltered from the wind on the upper deck, watched the Island Sailing Club s regatta.
