A trapping competition for a wager of £5 between two trappers on Earnsel Pugh It an (Southland) was won with a t.nly of 42G rabbits for onn night’s catch. The loser’s tally was 844 rabbits. The winner beats hia previous record of 860 rabbitt for one night.
