TIMARU PRODUCE MARKETS. The Timaru Rrain market in comiDon with ether southern markets is very quiet; but the week shows an improvement on last report when very little indeed was being done. Sales are reported this week of good lines of wheat at 3a lid, but holders of beat are firm for even money. All oats coming forward are easily placed at 2s sd, but the deliveries are not large. Quotations are unaltered, namely wheat 3s Id to 4s, second quality 3a to 3a 4d ; Danish oats 2s 5d and Duns 2* 6d. The news that the American supplies of flour, ebo., are likely to be cut off shortly was received with much satisfaction, as the local market will th-n regain its buoyancy and rule firm.—Herald. »
