Messrs Dalgety and Co. report under date London, June 16th “ The new an mis lor the fourth senes of wool sales have amounted to 301,000 bales, of which 101,000 bales have been forwarded direct to manufacturers at Home and abroad, leaving 218,000 bales (including old stocks) for sale.” The Canterbury Farmers, Co-operative Association, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office ;—“ Frozen meat, we quote to-day’s value on Nmithfield Market of prime Canterbury lamb, 4fd per lb ; of prime Canterbury mutton, 4d per lb ; market weak all round.” London, June 17.

The arrivals of wool number 301,000 bales; 18,000 biles have been forwarded to manufacturing districts, and 217,000 bales are available for the ensuing sales.
