Waimate Fire Brigade.
The usual monthly meeting was, held on Tuesday evening, JUieut. Colvilie taking th,e, ohai* in the absence, qf Qap.ta.tn Sinclair. The chief business was the arranging of the Brigade's part in the Corona* tion celebrations.
A letter was read from the Ministers' Association asking the Brigade to take part as a body in the service. It was decided to> reply that the Brigade QQuJd not attend as a body* A v&a read from "the Coronation Celebration Committee asking the Brigade to take part in the various functions. It wasdeoided to accede to the request. Pour members received certificates for three years' service— Branchman Ward and Firemen Colvilie, E. Presland and Berry.
