The Plague.

London, May 6. One hundred and two cases of plague were reported from" Egypt during April, 58 having terminated fatally. Brisbane, May 6. Br. Wray, Government Medical Officer, had been seized with plague. His ease is serious. Chkiscthueoh, May 6.

The man Shields, who is suffering from a suspicious disease and who was brought to the Hospital from Lyfctelton on Monday, was removed to the smallpox hospital reserve on the sandhills to-night where temporary tent accommodation has been provided for the patient and "attendants. The Honorary Medical Staft of the Hospital, with one exception, saw the patient this afternoon, and pronounoad the case to be a suspicious one with all the symptoms of plague.
