The usual fortnightly meeting of the Heart of Friendship Lodge was held last evening, N.G, Bro. The resignation of Bro. Jackson from the hall committee was reoeived, and Bro. H. Watts was appointed. A letter from the Zealandia Dancing Class with reference to rent and applying for a reduction was received, and it was resolved that the price be adhered to as arranged, an additional charge of 5s per hour or part of an hour to be made after such arrangement. The social committee reported that all arrangements had been made, and that the catering was in the hands of Messrs Mitobell and Craw’ord. The committee also reported that the tickets were going off well. Receipts for the evening amounted to JGI4.
