The entry ol sheep was about 20,000, but the market dragged a little. Fat and forward ewee and wethers brwaght 13s lOd; 2 and 4 tooth wethers, 1$ to 14s Id : fat ewes, 8e 9d, 9s lid, and Us 9d ; three-quarter bred ewee (full mouthed, 8s Sd, 8s 6d, 9s 2d to 9s 5d ; merino ewes (fat), 6s 6d ; two-tooth ewes, 13a 6d : three quarter bred store lambs, 5s lOd to Gi; lamb’s, 8s 5d to 10a 5d ; forward lambs 6s, 6s Bd, 8e Id ; 4 and 6tooth ewes, 12s 9d, 12s lOd to 13a; sound-mouthed halfbred ewes, 8s sd, 10s 6d, to 12s; tailing and brokenmouthed ew»t, 6s 2d ; old ewes 2« 9d to 3s 7d. There was a fair entry of cattle. Dry cows brought £6 15s to £6 sa; two yeai.-old istoiea. £2 15s: old cows £2 2a 6d; six-months old cattle 12s to 30»; st* re wga fold from 7a to 10s. Kama—Enghi-h Loicesters said at half, three-quarters and one guinea. Border Leioetten sold at 8 to 3 guineas.
