At St. Augustine's Lodge last evening a number of the brethren assembled to bid farewell to Bro. D. A. Taylor, who is leaving (he district. The gathering, which took the form of a smoke cohbert, was an exceedingly pleasing one During the evening Bro. Taylor was presented with a Masonic jewel, suitably inscribed, emblematic of the office ho held ..in the Lodge. Speeches eulogistic of Bro. Taylor were made by the --officers and brethren, who all expressed the deepest regret at losing him from their midst. Bro. Taylor feelingly replied, thanking Che" brethren for their gift and reciprocating their good wishes.
