W heat.— These is a strong demand, but there is little or no new c;op in the market. Prime milling 3s Gd, medium 3s 3d to 3s 4d, fowl feed 3s 2d to 3s 3d, broken 2s JO i to 3s (sicks extra.) Oats.—Business lias been restricted during the holidays, but all coming, forward have been readily placed. Barley.—There is little prime malting offering yet. Prime Lakes 5s 6d to 3s 9d, good malting 2s 8d to 3s, feed and milling 2s to 2s 9d (sacks extra.)
ST. ANDREWS STOCK SALE. There was an entry of over GOOft sheep at St Andrews on Thursday. There was a good attendance of buyers and a fair demand for ell classes of stock, moderate prices ruling Quotations were as follows : —Forward three - quarter bred lambs, 9s 3d; store lambs, os 3d to 6a 9d; 2-tooth three-quarter bred ewes, extra good, 13s Id; fat ewes, 9s to 11s 2d; sound-rroothed half bred ewes, 10s to 11s 4d; 6-tooth full-mouthed ewes. 10a 7d to 12:5 2d; aged ewes, 4s, ss, 6s 6d; to 7s 6d; store wethers, 11s 6d; backward '‘' others, 10s to 10s Gd; three Border "Leicester rams, lig:;; Lincoln rams, Ugns; old rams, 5s to 10s. There was an entry of several head of cattle, but nothing sold.
