Mr James M icg m the manag.w ui the Valdares’ World of Novelties Company has been in Waimate tho two days making arrangements forylu; appearance of this talented combination in tho town. The season which is set down for two nights, will begin on Friday evening the 14th inst. Seats can now be secured at Mr Franklin’s. The company who have just closed phenomenal seasons in tho cities of New Zealand, come with a splendid reputation, and should command crowded houses during their brief season in Waimate. _ The performers number twelve, all said t n be high in their profession. Speaking of the ,'aldarei an exchange says:—The Vu lar-.i commenced a season at the ''uarre on Saturday night,’ and had -y most enthusiastic reception, The -how is bright varied and interest, There are no tiresome waits and liut one interval. The main feature of the entertainment is the marvellous exhibition of trick cycling by the Valdares, two graceful and; daring “ wheelers who assuredly deserve all the praise that has been bestqwed on tham.
