For Eevr Zealand beans the demand is again more active, and 6d to la per qr. mure money is asked, the quotation now heii g 33a 61 to Sss 3d for ordinary quality, per oOllh. wheat. The highest price so far reported as having been paid is 2* 10d at a country station for a line of new wheat. Oats are still selling freely, both for shipment and for export to South Africa. Amona the sales that bare taken place during the week are 5000 bushels three parts of which were short teed, at “2s Ijd in sucks, and severals line® at 2s and 2s Ojd, iu centals, at country stations. J The breakdown of the Agapanthug will delay the shipment id tj ra fj rst cargQ ()f nsvr oats for South Africa, and no arrangements have yet been made as to whether another vessel will take her place, or whether she w’ll be sent on after repairs are affected a'b Adelaide. A fair amount of business is still being done in prime maltin'* barley, but secondary duality is dull ol sale.
