TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As a sample of the careless talk of prohibition orators, the stateoien t made by the chairman of a reoen t “temperance” meeting would be hard to bent. This fervid orator would b'e prepared, if. given the money spent on Honor in VVannate for three years, to place a pipe of water in every hou j e in the borough. Those would-he reformers m e over trying to make a mountain out of a molehill on the liquor question, hut for sheer nous?use this haiebt effort takes the cake.—l am, etc.. Tall Talk.
