Sydney, January 17. The health au'horities tonight reported that a win nam°.d Variety, who hid been removed to the coast hospital oft thd I4th> was suffering frim plague. It is a severe case, but the patient is improving. The matter was kept quiet till the case Was fully diagnnscd. /The man resided at Bbymarket, in the vicin ty of where the last tvf) pit eats, were supposed to have caught infection.
