Wedding.

An interesting wedding took place at Knox Church on Thursday, when Miss Jeannie Miller, youngest daughter of Mr 3. Miller, of Hook, was married,to Mr Herman •Meyer, eldest sou of Me Herman Meyer, Waituna. The Rev. A. S. Morrison officiated, the bride being given away by her brother, Mr W. Miller. The bride’s dress was of cream silk, with veil and orange blossoms, and she wore a handsoihe gold bangle, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids (Misses Milter and Margaret Miller) wore fawn voile and also wore bangles, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr Sinclair, of Tai Tapu, acted as best man, and Mr F, Meyer aj groomsman. After the ceremony the wedding’ party drove to Waituna sohoolhouse, where suitable.refreshments were laid. Then, after the group had been photographed, th. happy pair drove to the Junction accompanied by showers of goc wishes. In the evening a danc> was .held in the schoolhpnso U“ hoaom the event, a large nutubei of friends being present, and a vor} pleasant night’s enjoyment was concluded on the early morning oi Friday.
