Hospital Board.
A meeting of the Waimate Hospital Board was held yesterday, Messrs Sinclair (chair), Hardie, Walker, Studbolme and Boas being present. Mr Atwill cent an apology. The Matron's report showed that 7 males and 4 females were in the hospital at'lasfc meeting, 5 males and 2 fomales had been admitted daring the month, 6 males and 4 locales had been discharged, 1 male and 1 female had died, leaving 5 males and 1 male still under treatment. During the month £9 4s 4d had been paid. The Ckjef Postmaster, Timatu, wrote that, the cost of the telephone service to the Hospital had been considered moderate and it waa decided that the amount should be paid. Mr Walker had received a return of all the monies paid for hospital ■and Charitable aid purposes in Waimate County and Borough.
