SOUTHLAND OAT MARKET. • Inveroabgill, November 15. There is practically nothing fresh to report in the oat market. Business during the past week has bean restricted to small purchases on account of South African orders. A few lines ar« now offering from the country, and even these are difficult to sell at the high prices asked. Merchants who have taken up the South African orck<ra are now fully covered for all commitments. The s.s. Shrewsbury is expected to load oats for Africa ; another vessel has been chartered for this month, and another in December.
