Small sots of ewes with • lambs, all counted, -old at 6s to 9s Bd, 382 being with drawn at 7* 8d About 600 lambs ivere on < ff r in the fat pens, but with a few exceptions the quality was only secondary. Cattle- Fat cattle were represented by 220 bend, including some really /nod stfers and cows, but the heifers were all light, weights. If anything, bef wis h shade easier, ranging from 2is to 27* p'r 1001 b for good to prime a ul 20* vo 23-i 61 for other sorts. Two priz*! heifers from Mr Arthur n-iambi*rlain made Ll2 and Ll 3, and hi* prize cow Ll2 10-?. Fourteen at-ers from the North Island realised from LlO to Lll. Of the other entries, bnsr, steers made L 9 to LlO 15s; others L 0 Ids to LB; heifers, L 5 17s Gd to L 7 S< ; cow*. Lo 5* to L 7 for ordinary s irts, and L 8 sj> to Lit) 15s for extra well finished. Pigs—There was a yarding of all classes of pigs, a.id with the exception of porkers all sorts suffsred a decline.
