Dcnedin, Ootob-T 81. The Italian barqun Antioco Accaraa, Captain Monti, waa towed to sea from Port Chalmers this morning for Timara. As only a moderate breeze was Howiog she seemed likely to make a fair trip. A telegram was received from Mr Jame* Ross, a farmer at Sh*g Point, stating that a vessel wa« ashore at Kartigi. It it surmied that the barque must hav» struck a reef, and that the captain thought it advisable to beach her. The Plucky wiil leave at daylight for Shag Point, The vi»ss«l had been chartered by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company to- load grain at Timaru The beach on which the AnHoco Accame has gbne ashore'' is siridy and clear «f rocks, so that if a gale do snot sp:ing up there should bo a good chance of getting her off:
