MrE. Keeve, railway guard, is suffering from a sore knee, and is off duty for a day or so. Theßev. H.Kelly.formerlyofWaimate, passed south by yesterday's express, on his way to Dunedin to attend the Presbyterian General Assembly. He is to call in at Waitnato on his way back. Last issue we said " Mr Pitcaithly left for Tasmania yesterday." This was a printer's error, and should have read "Mrs Pitcaithly" Mr Pitcaithly will also leave on a holiday for the same place when the school break* ap. Mr J. Stewart, the stationmaster at' Waimate, was a schoolfellow of Sir Hector Macdonald at Inverness.
