Constable Parker, late of Waimate came down from Hawera on Saturday. He goes back again with Mrs Parker and family, in a few days. Musolino Oatabuan, a bandit, who has committed twenty murders, and eluded pursuit for years, was captured ia the streets of Urbino. The Be?. J, M. Adcock, who has been curate at St. Mary's Church, Timaru, has been chosen by the Temuka parish, and takes up his new du.ies in January next. Captain C. L. Campbell, of the 16th Ltncers, has b -an appointed to General Bibington'a staff.
Sergeant-Mapr Crespin, drill instructor to. the mounted corps of South Canter, bury, arrived in Waimate by yesterday's express. He comes up in connection With the Studholme Mouoted Rifles' camp on Thursday next.
