An extraordinary summoned meeting of the Oddfellows Lodge was held last ■- evening, when over 50. members were ■ present, Bro. F. Wi^o", N.G., presiding, i Oorrespondence was readandapproved, ; as Was also the report of the District meeting held last week. In connec- : tion with this a vote of thanks was passed to the delegates. Sick pay was passed for £4 4s 4d. It was resolved to give a donation of £3 3s to the Salvation Army. Ons candidate waß initiated by P.G.M. Fagan, and two candidates were proposed for membership. Bro 3. Kay, of Oamaru, and Hutchison, of Dunedin were received as visitors. The sale or lease of the hall was diaenssed at length and it was decided to'call for alternative tenders' for the sale or lease of the building, the secretary and treasurer to arrange details. Eight members applied for their degrees. The receipts fdr the evening were £ii l4s 7d.
