The Trouble in China.
Berlin, September 2. Germany is pressing the other Powerß to baeten the signing of the protocol, and trusts (he Chinese Government to issue satisfactory edicts respecting supplement* ary punishments and the suspension of examinations. The British and American Ministers refuse to accede to the German request owing to the unsatisfactory nature of the edict forbidding the importation of arms. HoNoKoNa, September 2. Katung, the notorious Boxer, who wal detained at Shanghai because of the objection raised by the Japane Government, has sailed to fulfil his expiatory mission to Japan.
