STUDHOLME SALE. At the Junction ya- ds yesterday there was a arge attendance- of buyers and an entry of 6000 sueep and a few cattle. For ewes a ((ragging sale was experienced, but other classes sold wed. Prices ruled as under Sheep—Ewes, from 8s Id to 11s 21, 11s Bd, 14s 3d, 15s, up to 18s 3d; hoggets, 11s, Us 6i, 12s-3d, l‘2s 9d, 12s lid to 13s 21 ; store wethers (a small entry), 16s 6u ; fats, 17s to 17s lOd. Cattle —Three-year-old steers, £5 10s; fat cattle, £6 to £6 7a 6d ; cows (springers);- £3 10s, £5, £5 10s to £7. STUDHOLME HORSE SAtiE. The Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative Association, Limited (per Messrs Munde l and Jones, auctioneers), report holding their third monthly horse sale this season, at the Studholme Junction saleyards, m, Thursday, The entry consisted of 53 draught, light harness, and hackney hors, s, the sale of draughts being an exceptionally brisk and satisfactory one. Some grand stamps wb e offered, and sold with the greatest ease, the supply for young and not too heavy horses being far short of the want* of buyers present. Mr J Northcote’s, Mr John Mtehan’s and Mr Rayne’s horses all commanded ihc very best attention, end a brisk sale resulted. Three to 6-year-old mares and geldings brought £33 10s, £34, £34 10a, £35-, £36, £4O 10s, £4llos, £45-to £46 10s; aged draughts, £ls 10s so £27 10s. Hamels sorts sold at £9 to £l6ss. Aqu.ntby of contractor’s implements; harness and- sundries- Was also submitted and sold at satisfactory prices.
