HoiioKoNO, Aug. 1. Boxer* have placarded Canton, threatening a rebellion owing to the imposition of a house tax in connention with providing the foreign indemnity. August 2. Pekin is placarded with a proclamation that China, having committed a national crime in 1900, punishment hie been inflicted as a warning against its recurrence.
