The Radicals resist the Bill allowing the King to use his discretion in thte ohoice of his title fearing-that unleas'the Bill specifies a title, a mete Imperialist one may possibly be tehbseD. Thte 'Nationalists' opposition is based on thte accession declaration and the titlfe "Defender of the Faith." ME&Eor/Bitt;, July 31. In reply to the Eight Hon. J. Chamberlain the Commonwealth Government have suggested the following title :—King of Great Britain and Ireland, Defender df the -Faith, Emperor of India and Sovereign Lord of the British Realm Beyond the Seas.
