Waimate Volunteer Fire Brigade meets for business ; every first Tuesday, practice every second Tuesday in he month. J. Sinclair, captain. School Committee meets every third Tuesday in each month. W. M. Hamilton, chairman; W. L. Scott, secretary Star Oycling Club committee meets every third Wednesday 'in the month J. W. Manchester, secretary. Waimate Rifles parade at drillshfd every second and fourth Wednesday at 7.30 p.m. E. Porter, secretary. St Augustine's Lodge (N.Z.C.) meets Wednesday on or before full moon. J. Sinclair, secretary. Oddfellows' Lodge meets every alternate Monday at 730 p.m. J. S, Butcher, secretary. Magistrates' 'Court sits on alternate Thursdays at 10 a. m. Constable Christie, clerk of the Court.
Foresters' Lodge—Every alternate Monday at 7.30 p.m. P. Grant, secretary. Juvenile Lodge— Every alternate Monday, P. Grant, secretary, Waimate Horticultural Society meets every third Wednesday in each month. Norton Francis, president; W. L. Sc<stt, secretary.
